I don't like Yahoo.com but the phrase "yahoo" is really neat and one I use often, especially these days!
So, I'm a designer. I'm also a gamer. I've been a designer for as long as I've been a gamer and I've been more or less equal in both for about a year now. Ever since I got my Multimedia Designer education over with I've been tinkering with various designs and games, drawing inspiration from all sorts of genres and sources. While I design for print primarily I also design for web and more type-specific stuff like brand and package design. As of late I've also done texture art for a local gaming company, but not something I'd call a standing arrangement luckily (it's not that exciting).
So I'm here, and I'm damn happy that I am. DeviantART was and still is getting on my nerves and it's not the community it once was. While I still go there and visit the more inspirational parts of the site for my work, there's nothing for the gamer in me. This however, looks promising although I've only been a member for an hour or two.
Oh yerh, I chose the nick Artsycho, which is one I've used ever since I realized 'sycho' was a bit misleading. However I'm a psycho about all things art, so this is way more fitting. 
My only question right now, should I bother getting a subscription?
